Week 9: Logo Design

 

I designed a logo to represent myself. This is a girl holding a camera. Photography is an integral part of my life, and I like to take photos to record my life. So I built a self-portrait with a camera and used pink and blue in my favorite light shades.

How 2D design can be used creatively in a classroom:

1. Teach students how to use software, such as Illustrator, and have them try out simple graphics.

2. Guide students to draw their own logos and show it to the class.

3. Divide students into groups of 3-4. Ask them to choose a product and design a promotional poster for it after brainstorming and discussion.
