4/1 Scanography

 

I chose flowers as the theme. In the first set of scanography, I tried to open the cover of the scanner halfway and let the light in to form the shadow of the flowers. I scanned the branches, flowers, petals, etc. In the second set, I covered the scanner with plastic wrap which produced reflections. I tried to move the flowers to create a dynamic effect.

Scanography is a very exploratory and accessible project. In scanning, users can get started quickly and use their imagination. By moving objects, dynamic images can be created. Creators may not be able to imagine the scanning effect until the picture comes out. I think scanography is a great way to bring many possibilities.
